Fact: Ostriches do not stick their head in the sand and the majority of businesses (SME's) do not have a business continuity plan

Ostriches have survived many catastrophes over time; sadly the same cannot be said about many businesses

What is Business Continuity Planning?

This is exactly what the seminar is designed to do; explain what a business continuity plan is, how it works,how it can assist you in surviving a crisis and even give you a competitive edge.

The seminars will involve case studies and feature business people who have taken a knock when the unexpected has suddenly meant their business cannot function.  We’ll even give you some pointers in drawing up your own plan!

All of the major banks, retail shops and manufacturers have a Business Continuity Plan in place – they know the value of preparing for the unexpected.  But many smaller businesses don’t yet have a plan in place....and no one can predict what may be just around the corner.

It is better to ask these questions now and plan for what could happen rather than try and pick up the pieces when unexpected events do happen.

The seminars are designed for all sizes of business, from the sole trader to Finance Directors of large organisations. Even if you already have Business Continuity Plan you are more than welcome to share your experiences and see where you may be able to refine it.
